12/21: Total Lunar Eclipse
I set an alarm for an hour before totality (2:15EDT). When I first went outside, the sky was complete overcast (as forecast). The now-waning crescent moon was occasionally visible behind the clouds, so I set up my tripod and experimented with exposure settings – the results were not pretty…
I went inside to warm up, and when I poked my head back out, the sky was CLEAR! I quick-like-a-bunny started shooting, not knowing when the clouds would pile back on….
