Julie said that a hummer came by on a regular schedule, so I set up with a tripod, remote shutter release, set for 1/4,000th of a second, and focused on the flower. All we had to do was squeeze the trigger when we saw/heard him, and the camera would fire off 10 exposures in quick order. After a few false alarms, I sat down next to the camera at sundown, and the hummer appeared! I squeezed, and this was the best of the 10 or so exposures – good for a start!
